this was way after school was released, though. it happened at 4pm and school gets out around 2:45. could have even been a middle schooler.

tell your kids to make eye contact with drivers to be sure they see them. too many times the driver in the outside lane will wave a kid to cross not realizing there is a care coming in the inside lane...
