All Marks so called points are just talking point hyperbole.

All Marks so called points are just talking point hyperbole.

Opinions are like finger prints. Facts are facts. Call it what you like. bob

Facts are facts

You havent presented any facts.

You havent presented any facts.

bob. you wouldn't know a fact if you read one. I posted facts and you deny they exist. Enough.

Senate Republicans Vote To Sell Off Our National Parks To Private Industry

For over a hundred years, conservation has been a value held in high regard by a majority of Americans. But if Republicans have their way, all the lands we have fought to protect as National Parks will be handed over to private industry.

That's true. His points are bald faced lies.

His points are bald faced lies.

That's pretty harsh. I take no offense as Logic has presented no evidence to prove anything I posted to be a lie. I have no need to lie. My post on the bottom of page outline the actions of the GOP. as I see them. They did what they did and I think a party divided as they are do not deserve my vote for the reasons I stated at the bottom of page 3.

Logic, Work and I disagree on many topics- we still don't insult each other- why not use your rhetoric to make points politely? People are more apt to listen, when you do that-

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 3 years ago -

I remembered something that happened during 43's presidency- a woman had been in a coma for 25 years- her husband wanted to pull the plug, her parents didn't- Bush tried to pass a law to prevent him from doing that- clearly an attempt to put his beliefs in to law, and circumvent the husband's rights- there an example of a element of theocracy-

ATD, is there something wrong with your thinking? I was polite when I said his points were lies. They are lies. Under your thinking process, that would make Mark impolite for stating those lies?

Basically I was just repeating what Emperor said. Or did you not know that hyperbole is another word for lie?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 3 years ago -

OY.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 3 years ago -

You sure sound like j. Lynch.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 3 years ago -

there an example of a element of theocracy-?

Or an element of the Constitution.

Mark - I had a close friend who marched with Cezar Chavez. He was very liberal, but understood that liberals do not always get it right. In those days I was a socialist. At times I still lean towards socialism (Unlike Obama, I will admit it).

My friend once told me "truth usually falls somewhere between the Democrats and Republicans". I feel that is very true. Though he was liberal, he knew that nobody held a monopoly on knowledge.

But, people like yourself paint with a broad brush. You make sweeping statements and some are true, some are not, and some contain a bit of truth. I looked at your earlier post blasting the Republicans. It makes you look very closed-minded. Do you think all the problems in the country originate from one political party?

I looked at your article about the national parks and consider it something we should be concerned about. But, we have a dysfunctional government and will probably not fix it. I feel most of the blame falls on Obama. He is a nice enough guy, but not a leader. Also, as a Zionist, I do not trust him to handle Israel appropriately. Having some of my family marched off to camps and murdered tends to make you a little defensive about going along with the development of atomic weapons by a radical Muslim country.

If people in government and on blog sites could stop talking and listen, we would probably get more accomplished. We need to focus on issues. Sometimes we are closer together on issues than we realize.

My wife and I have been advocates for socialized medicine for 25 years. I have always felt that every American should have health coverage. But, Obamacare is a terrible idea.

You see the Constitution in this? Rights of a woman who's become a vegetable? This call is her husbands, because she can't-

Emperor of Kingwood --- 3 years ago -

Yes I see the Constitution in this, its called law.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 3 years ago -

Bob, I have a living will, so no well meaning hospital decides to keep me alive in the name of the Constitution!

Your memory isn't too good. She was in a coma for 15 years, not 25 years, and Bush didn't try to pass a law. Only Congress can pass laws.

What both houses of Congress did pass just allowed the Federal courts to hear the case.

Also, that is not an example of any element of a theocracy.

You are way off base on this one.
