JustWatching --- 70 days ago -

Lol. are we great yet??

I am...how about you?

JustWatching --- 70 days ago -

corrected and fully explained above?

The key word is "corrected". It took a while for the truth to come out. That's the left for you. Say something enough times and it becomes truth whether it is or not. Then when finally proved wrong put the correction on page 10.

JustWatching --- 70 days ago -

Fortunately their numbers are dwindling...

Not dwindling...just tired of all the nonsense the left says. It's really not worth explaining anything to the left because they will never listen or understand. Just like...Trump never had a chance and HRC was a certainty. I tried to warn the left on here but you don't listen.

AMDG --- 70 days ago -

My point remains - it was corrected.

And in this case - this was much more a semantic or technical correction - the main point of the story - still stands.

Did you read the link ???

Dorothy Parker --- 70 days ago -

Do you ever tire of generalizing and saying "the left?" There are a lot of people disturbed and concerned by Trump's actions. People on the left, the right and in the center. I don't blame the GOP for Trump's tweets, I don't believe he represents their values or any values, for that matter.

I think those vehemently supporting him are in a class all their own, and it has nothing to do with being conservative or a Republican. It's cult like behavior that is reminiscent of Jones Town or The Branch Davidians or Scientology. You see it here every day. No matter what he says or does, you support and defend it...even if it's something you would be completely against in any other circumstance. It's delusion and insanity.

JustWatching --- 70 days ago -

My point remains - it was corrected.

My point is ...when was it corrected? It was out for days and days and days. The correction was out for one day or so. The story accomplished what it was supposed to do and the correction really didn't matter.

JustWatching --- 70 days ago -

Because you complain about every little thing he says and does. Every word....every action and it gets old. They take a poll about everything like his current working vacation. The WH is being renovated with new stuff and has NO air conditioning until they put the new one in. I've been in DC in the summer...you need AC. Yet, he's supposed to stay there.

AMDG --- 70 days ago -

News organizations can make mistakes - in this particular case - a very minor one - not even particularly important to the main point of the story.

What they have to do is correct them when proven wrong.

but so far we are on one story - so is the basis of the continual rant of "fake news" out of the NY Times - one relatively insignificant story -

You have another one ??

jackass --- 70 days ago -

I've been in DC in the summer...you need AC. Yet, he's supposed to stay there.

Yeah. Not out earning profits for his company with taxpayer money, if he has to leave go to camp david like all the other presidents where he won't be making money for his brand.

AMDG --- 70 days ago -

The WH is being renovated with new stuff and has NO air conditioning until they put the new one in.

I've heard it was a dump

jackass --- 70 days ago -

I've heard it was a dump

Who told you that?

Dorothy Parker --- 70 days ago -

JustWatching, just own that you love Trump unconditionally and cannot stand for anyone to criticize him. He is your savior and bestie all in one!

And lmao at the "no a/c" comment!

jackass --- 70 days ago -

Btw I don't need AC...lol

SoupIsGoodFood --- 70 days ago -

Find me a NY Times or Wash Post NEWS story that is factually wrong, that has not been corrected.

Corrected because they got caught.

Otherwise they knew what they were putting out was false. You can't tell me that the MSM all of a sudden became so error prone in their reporting within the last year or so.

It's done on purpose. Anyone with half a brain can see it happening on an almost daily basis. Complicit fools defend the practice. That is evident from the left defenders on this thread.

Throwing out false news and then correcting it once you get caught doesn't magically absolve you of any guilt.

Sure I like him. He is way better than the CROOK you people ran.

did you read the link with the correction ?? The correction was almost immaterial to the story.

You can't tell me that the MSM all of a sudden became so error prone in their reporting within the last year or so.

Error prone ?? My challenge still stands - find me a "news" not Op-ed piece that the NY Times has gotten factually wrong - so far the count is 1 - and what was factually wrong in the piece was of almost no importance.

So so far this "false news" narrative is based on this.

Throwing out false news and then correcting it once you get caught doesn't magically absolve you of any guilt.

So far - the count is 1 ( and of no real importance to the story)

SoupIsGoodFood --- 70 days ago -

You have become the ultimate apologist, AMDG.

Your challenge has obviously already been met.

AMDG --- 70 days ago -

Your challenge has obviously already been met.

Welcome back -

So that is it, the entire narrative of "false news" from the NY Times is based on this one error - of which has nothing material to do with the story.

So one error in at least hundreds of stories, that you correct, justifies the "false news" label.

Tough crowd.

So true...

AMDG --- 69 days ago -

So true...

You able to find any more than 1 example of the NY Times being factually incorrect on a news story yet ??

JustWatching --- 69 days ago -

I'm sure there is a lot more....the most recent is the story they made up about Pence going to run for President in 2020. That has been vehemently denied as untrue!

AMDG --- 69 days ago -

JW - you see that is the heart of the issue - what you have is belief - what you don't have is facts.

Find a NY Times article on Pence 2020 - read IT, and tell me what is factually wrong with IT>

Do not regurgitate a second hand internet post from a site you like.

Go first hand, with an open mind - and deal in facts.

JustWatching --- 69 days ago -

I did something you didn't do. I heard it from VP Pence himself. Unless you or the NY Times read minds then I would say the story isn't true.

AMDG --- 69 days ago -

You have an assumption that NY Times wrote a news story that Pence said he was running in 2020 - find it

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 69 days ago -

He assumes a lot- and states him opinion as fact, constantly-

AMDG --- 69 days ago -

JW - will make it a touch easier - here are the 2 articles in question -

just because Pence objects to the first article does not make anything in it false.

latest fake news from NYTimes

Have they been caught and corrected this story yet?

Do you not see the pattern here, AMDG?

AMDG --- 69 days ago -

I do see a pattern -

Here is the total correction:

An article on Tuesday about a sweeping federal climate change report referred incorrectly to the availability of the report. While it was not widely publicized, the report was uploaded by the nonprofit Internet Archive in January; it was not first made public by The New York Times.

Here is the pattern - in the hundreads of stories that the NY Times has run -

Trump supporters have found 2 minor errors, both insignificant to the main purpose/meaning of the story, both of which were immediately corrected when they became aware of the error.

And these minor corrections drive your "false news" narrative.

But here is the real pattern - The zealous Trump supporters start with their mind made up, and then search the internet for any piece of information to confirm their already entrenched belief.

The fact is that the NY Times is a professional news organization that has an editorial view that is not favorable to the POTUS.

And the true definition of fake news, is any news DJT does not agree with.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 69 days ago -

LOL........... You have become a master at apologizing.

You're laughable at this point. I can't take you serious any longer.

No worries - have a very nice day then

SoupIsGoodFood --- 69 days ago -

Sure thing.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 69 days ago -

BTW......... You wanna take a guess as to when the next story/correction is coming from the NY Times?

Gonna be real soon.
