.weren?t those tax cuts good enough??

No!...They are temporary for you and me. Permanent for Corporations. Why is that cool?

Thought the Dems had a blue wave, what's stopping them from making them permanent?

the Markster --- 168 days ago -

, what's stopping them from making them permanent?

Nitwits that vote republican that write policies like permanent tax cuts for corporations. Why do regular people vote republican?

How about answering the question you responded to. Why is it cool your taxes are temporary cut and corporations get permanent tax cuts?

Because corporations create jobs.

SoupIsGoodFood --- 167 days ago -

For a minute, I thought Wayne's meme was talking about Hillary and her excuses for losing the election. LOL

OrdinaryGuy --- 167 days ago -

Because that's the only way the democrats would sign on to the bill. Put the blame where it belongs!!

Mark if Dems are taking control (like they claim) then they can easily make the cuts permanent

jackass --- 167 days ago -

He?s got a point...

OrdinaryGuy --- 166 days ago -

Because anyone with a brain knows that corporations DON"T pay taxes. If you raise their taxes all they do is raise the price that consumers pay for their products. You tax a corporation and the consumer suffers!!

You should take a look at a publicly traded companies 10K and annual report. You'll find plenty of taxes paid.

fuzz81 --- 166 days ago -

And you still don?t have healthcare, with spending higher than GDP lol ... you go, merica

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 166 days ago -

Emp, I think he means that they just pass it on to the consumers, so the consumers are the ones paying the taxes for them in the end.

fuzz81 --- 166 days ago -

Don?t bother trying to explain basic English to someone who couldn?t calculate a percentage

Emp, I think he means that they just pass it on to the consumers, so the consumers are the ones paying the taxes for them in the end.

I know what he meant, but its still not true. Taxes are based on gross profit. 1oKs and annual reports clearly delineate that. Passing on last quarters taxes simply raises next quarters revenue.

the Markster --- 166 days ago -

Why do we have to wait for that to happen? Why is it ok for your tax breaks to be temporary? No one seems to be able to answer that. So vote republican, get screwed and hope that the democratic party wins back the agenda and fixes what the republicans did? That's not an answer to why regular people vote republican. I don't believe republican voters are stupid. I believe they've been suckered into believing trickle down works. It does not.

It doesnt matter how strong the mkt is. It matters how strong main st is.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 165 days ago -

The only way the tax cuts could be passed was to make them temporary. The original bill was written so that the cuts were permanent-as far as the market goes, anyone who has an IRA is affected when it drops. That's just about everybody- when corporations are strong, the economy is strong. Even if you don't like Trump, he's been very good for business. (I wish he'd cool it with the tariff threats.)

Prolix Raconteur --- 165 days ago -

The "temporary" tax cut for individuals is 10 years. A recently revised report from the Tax Policy Center revealed that only 25% of Americans "might" pay more taxes in 10 years, not everybody under the new code. 10 years is a long time in politics, so rest assured, Mark, your democrat politicians will have plenty of time to muck it up and raise our taxes back to where they were, or worse, once they get back in power. I should probably put this in meme format if I really want him to understand.

Hiro Protagonist --- 165 days ago -

Seems like the percentage is about exactly right. Since the top 20% hold 90% of the wealth in the country, they should probably pay that in taxes.

once they get back in power.

You mean in the upcoming midterm.

Prolix Raconteur --- 165 days ago -

Stupid, I know. But it will happen eventually.

That's what the Dems claim. So will they make the tax cuts permanent and admit trump did the right thing or let them expire giving tax payers a tax hike. Lmao

SoupIsGoodFood --- 165 days ago -

You mean in the upcoming midterm.

Is this the same crystal ball that predicted an easy Hillary win?
