You Could Help Keep a Child Predator In Prison Well its that time of year again. I have received my letter from the Parole Board notifying me that Mr. Bauer is up for parole again. On March 7, 2006 Randy Gene Bauer tried to abduct my daughter from her bus stop on East River Dr., in Splendora Montgomery County. Only he and the police know what he had planned for her that day. He has admitted those facts to the police and is currently serving an Eight (8) year sentence in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. But, after serving less than 19 months of an 8 year sentence he might be eligible to get out of jail and possibly try, or God forbid, actually abduct a child and carry out all the horrible things that he told the police he had planned to do to my daughter. Do you think that he has paid his debt and learned his lesson? Has he so changed his ways that he won’t try this again? I don’t think so!!! I know that we don’t always have control over the things that happen to us, but if we could keep the criminals in jail for the length of time that they were sentenced they might think twice about committing their crimes again. I am not asking anyone to fix the Justice System but to help me work with the one that we have and keep Randy Gene Bauer in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the full 8 years that he was sentenced When I spoke to the Parole Division they told me that anyone that had been effected by this man’s actions could send a “Letter of Protest” to the Parole Board. Well I am just trying to remind everyone that we all have a voice and we need to speak up and tell them to not release this animal back into society. Were you effected??? Have you changed the way that you allow your children to wait for the bus? Are you afraid to let your children walk a short distance from the bus stop to your home? Do you watch your daughters or sons a little closer when you go out in public? Well if you said “Yes” to any of these then I am asking you to write the Parole Board and let them know that you do not want Randy Gene Bauer released back into society before he has served ALL of his sentence, and that when he is released that you do not want him released back into Montgomery, Liberty, Polk or Harris Counties, and that when he is released that he should be made to register as a sex offender, be supervised at the highest level and have to wear a GPS monitor for the remainder of his parole. The Parole Division will take all “Letters of Protest” and place them in his file. The Parole Board will read these letters and make their decision regarding his release.
