There was an issue when I ordered food to-go one night.I went to pay by credit card and they told me it was declined, they then tryed once more. so i payed in cash. No problem, just seemed bit odd. I went to check my balance online the next day, and the charge for the food from the night before showed under recent transactions. Long story short, when I went in to discuss the charge, they were beyond rude and under no way willing to remove the charge, nor talk to the credit card company to confirm the charge was made that night. It was a ridiculous scene of every worker in the resturant telling me they "didnt have time to confirm they were right" and that they would "pay me double" if there was a charge, yet wouldnt take the time to look that there was indeed a charge. It was the most shameful moment i've ever seen in a resturant. Needless to say i won' be back. Theres many other resurants dedicated to good service, clean kitchens, and take time to fix mistakes made on there part. Just wondering if anyone has had past problems with hin's garden by tan makers? 

Wow! That's surprising! I know the owners and eat there all the time. Never had a problem, but things do happen I guess.

I have found roaches in my food from there. When I called to complain, they pretty much told me I was lying so I went over there and created a scene in the middle of a packed restaurant.

too true, I too had a problem with a meal there. Don't remember what I ordered but the onion in the meal was old, you know, moldy old. Needless to say, I didn't finish my meal. When we decided to try them again, thinking that the first time might have been a fluke, the dumplings we ordered were old and tasted like they were left over from a previous day/days

Their food always makes me feel sick afterwards - don't know why, all my friends love it. 

my dh got food poisoning from their wonton soup he had to be seen at the E.R. and was so sick he missed work for like 3 days. This was like 3 years ago and we haven't been back

ewwww.....and that is why I only trust Laura(KUer) to and her DH's chinese restaurant. I had food posioning too at another local restaurant. It was awful. But I know that HUNAN 777 is very clean...because if they were not I'd already be dead(Iodine allergy is fatal). 

Gross. I always order from Hunan Garden and have never had a problem.

Mencius is the best Chinese restaurant in Kingwood IMO. The owners are very nice,restaurant is clean and overall the service is wonderful.

I have never had a problem with Hin's and I eat there (usually delivery) about 2-3 times a month, and have been for years. Had Hin's last night!
