any better ones out there. I am making my decision tomorrow !

If you live in KW go to Golds, in Atascocita go to QLS (assuming they are about equal in your mind).

well i have a pass for 1 week at QLS I aM going to call tomorrow or rather today. I was just wondering. If anyone had tried both and what they felt.

mommie21g1b --- 247 days ago -

I have been at QLS since they opened, but never been to Golds

We have been going to Golds for almost 2 years. We will probably be signing another contract in May. My wife and I are both happy, and Golds is fairly inexpensive.

Golds is closer but the hot tub is an issue I hear QLS is more spa. Golds could use me to be a sales rep because the interview was weak.Plus I am looking for one that I can use this summer in Fla. Bali is in both places

QLS has member reciprocation agreements with many gyms. I have never used it, but know that is exists. But honestly if you like the facility I would go to the one closest to you otherwise you probably won't use it as much. I wouldn't drive to KW to go to the gym so that is why I stay in Atasocita. You might think you will, but more than likely you won't.

It depends on what you're looking for. If it's exercise classes it's probably 6 of one.. I teach at Gold's and we have an excellant staff of Group Ex. and some of them also teach at QLS. We off cycling (freestyle and RPM), Body Pump,Body Flow, Vive, Zumba Body Combat and Step. I believe QLS recently renovated and may have bought new equipment so the equipment may be new-but don't quote me on that. Our machines are in good working order and we have a tone of free weights. There is a women's only workout area and it has it's own set of free weights. We attract some hard core weight lifters (Big Ben?? he would know that). The evenings are way more busy than the mornings and mid morning through the afternoon are least crowded. Of course, it'll be packed for the next 2 months while the Resolutioners pack the house-then it tapers off-so have patience-that'll be true no matter where you go. We have a sauna and childcare and of course personal training. Good luck and happy workout

Jpgirl, do you guys have Turbo Kick there? Or does Gold's just do Les Mills?

jdb --- 246 days ago -

We have Les Mills- we do have Body Combat-very popular-my dh takes it and he's a red/black belt in Taekwondo. I've done Turbo Kick at conference with the choreographer-Combat is along the same lines

I'm certified in TKB. I teach it at another gym, but I was wondering if Golds is looking to add it to their schedule.
