My wife and I, and a few good friends began a non-profit org for local youth last year and went as far as getting our 501c3 although we rent places to do events, like camps, skating, ski trips, we are facing our next goal. That would be getting land so we can start working on building a youth ranch. The hard part is finding the right people that are willing to donate land in our area we are looking for 80 acreas +/- we have a website www.nbyr.org its only a few of us working this on the side as we all work and raise our own children but are trying to impact more lives. your area may be the hard part.....what about a long term lease, with small fees associated? maybe king ranch? 

Get in contact with a few of the therapeutic riding programs. They normally know of any land available.

Thanks i will check it out. The area is the key because the vision is for the youth of this area. maybe 50 mile radius would not be to far but local would be best to serve the youth that are here
