This coming august, I have an amazing opportuntity to go on a mission trip to Haiti with a handful of our church leaders. The trip will only cost 1,500 for all expenses but that means I need to get my little butt moving with raising money!! Does anyone have any advice!? A few ideas I have is a raffle, car wash, and dog wash. If you can't help or have ideas, please lift me up in prayer for my trip! Thank you all

Selling candy is always a big hit but with school ending you are limited on time unless your folks can sell it at work. Ham and cheese kaiser roll sandwiches or pizzas are a good seller usually with a nice profit to help raise funds. Bake sale, t-shirt sale, Chinese auction... 

Also consider sending out a sponsor letter to family and close friends of the family telling them why you are raising money, about the mission trip, about the place you are going and why it means so much for you personally to help. Ask them if they would consider sponsoring you in any way and if they are unable to monetarily, prayers are just as valuable.

You may get most of it with a sponsor letter alone...
