Do you know what time school starts? I have look on the web site to no avail. This is my grandson's first year there and his handbook is somewhere in the moving boxes (hello, mom, what were you thinking?) 

You are right..... The recording at their office (281-577-2920) says the office opens at 7:30 am. You might be prepared to be there then tomorrow if you don't find out before then. Sorry I couldn't be more help. GOOD LUCK to your grandson on his first day!!! 

You're right, I can't find it. You would think that would be something they would make easy to find. 

My grandson goes to Crippen Elem. this year which is in the same district and this is on their website. I would think it would be close to the same times :)

First Day of School
August 22nd
We start serving breakfast at 7:30 a.m.
Our first bell rings at 8:10 a.m. and the tardy bell rings at 8:20 a.m.
Parents may walk students to class the first day only.
PK and K parents may walk students to class the first week only.
For the first day of school ONLY in the morning we will not be running IDs through Raptor.
We will be giving sticker badges to all who enter with their name and the location they are going to.
Students are dismissed at 3:45 p.m. following the afternoon announcements as per our dismissal procedures. 

8:15 for Porter elementary. 

I would plan on being there by 8 on the first day :) if you are wanting to walk him to his class. There will be a line I'm sure to get your sticker tag.

Yes, the lines will be long for parking AND getting into the building. I was planning on getting there about 7:45 so I guess that will work. I dread the whole thing with the heat factor.
