Everyone going at each other makes my head spin. Can you be honest on this thread and allow me to ask this question and you give a honest answer?

No answer is right or wrong. And no bashing each other. I love all people and don't judge no matter what. Hopefully you will see that in time. But what I do not like is when someone claims to be a Christian and then not try to live like one.

I saw a bumper sticker once that really stuck with me, it read - God, I love you, it's your followers I don't like -

So my question is - what do you believe in? What Religion are you? I'd also like to know why you believe or disbelieve in God or something. Be honest. NO BASHING. NO JUDGING. Just be truthful about your feelings. 

I believe in God the Father, and Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.... 

Unfortunately that is how it's been here on KU for a very long time. We've come to just live with it & expect it any time someone expresses their religious or political views.

Some people KNOW they are right & everyone else is wrong and they are bound & determined to make you see it their way or else.

I think that is so wrong. It doesn't have to be a fight. No one's feelings need to be hurt. And no one such be in your face about THEIR beliefs. I accept you no matter what. I will love people no matter if I believe different. I am not going to tell you that you are WRONG - like some one on here. I wish to be kind to everyone. I respect what you say even if I don't agree. You will NEVER hear me say or see me type anything negative about your beliefs. I may ask you questions about it because I'm interested in your thoughts. Jesus said to love your neighbor and this is how I do. If I ever offend someone I would want them to tell me so I may make amends with them. :-) 

...and if you don't believe in the Bible's word as literal fact, then you have reading comprehension problems.

Btw, I'm an Atheist. It's a long story. Maybe I'll tell it tomorrow.

I don't care too much for labels myself. I think I'd rather be called a Spiritual person and a friend of Jesus then a Christian. 

On this forum, it's hard to profess your christian beliefs because there is always someone on here that will call you a liar!
Sad but true. So, like my political beliefs, my christian beliefs will remain my own and very personal. After all, in the end, it's just between me and God anyway.

JL - go hijack someone else's thread. What you call judgements are opinions. The way you come across to people you must think you are Jesus Christ Himself.
