This month, the company I work at, Bertling Logistics, has organized a “Spring into Action” food drive, benefiting the Houston Food Bank.

If you would like to donate cans of food from your pantry that have not expired, let me know. (I can pick up within Northpark/Kingwood Drive Area!)

What’s in it for me ? The Employee collecting the most gets a vacation day !!! What more could I ask for !

I can plan a milkrun this Saturday afternoon after soccer at the Y...
Now, what time should I swing by, did you say ? ;-) -

PS: I'm told the Houston Food Bank does NOT accept Ramen Noodles as it is not considered of nutritional value !

- Canned Stews and Pasta/Meat
- Peanut Butter
- Canned fruits in light syrup
- Natural Applesauce
- 100% Juice Cans or boxes
- Canned Vegetables, tomatoes, tomato sauce
- Soups with Meat and/or beans
- Meal-in-a-can
- Cereals and Cereal Bars
- Pasta, Spaghetti, Macaroni, Noodles
- Packages of dry beans
