So I'm babysitting my sisters little yorkiepoo this weekend and I think he needs to be trimmed. She has given me permission to cut his hair, does anyone know how I would do it? I have a lab so never cut a dogs hair before 

I would take him to a groomer. They move around so much, I would hate for you to injure him, or screw up his hair. 

How much does that run? And what's a good place? 

BEFORE you can take it to any reputable groomer, You're going to need the dogs vet records to show it's up to date on shots and has had a bordetella vaccine as well (kennel cough). 

K I can prob get my sisters boyfriend to go by her apartment and get those records. I took my moms dogs to that place on 494(can't remember the name) one time and they did a great job on her dachshund. They didn't ask for any records so I didn't know they should ask for it 

Definitely, doglady is so right!! Don't even attempt to do it yourself, those little guys are wiggle worms.

I think you should just leave it to your sister to take care of. She might take the little guy to a groomer that he feels comfortable with. He'll survive without a new do till she gets back.

yorkie poo is tiny but powerful. 

I just have him a bath with lavender dog shampoo and trimmed the hair around his eyes so he could see better. He smells so good!
