I've searched -can't find any recent threads and Rate Kingwood website does not appear to be working.

Who do u like for car care in Kingwood? Needs to be ASE certified for warranty work. I'm thinking maybe Pep Boys or Kenneth's. Care to share good or bad experiences? HELP! :)

Thanks!

We use Clifford's and Beckwith's, both in Humble. Completely reliable and trustworthy.

We use Beckwtih's too. We're very happy with the work they do. We went to Kenneth's on a friends recommendation. We weren't happy with the job they did. Took it back twice to get them to fix the problem and weren't satisfied with the work they did. On the 4th time, they told me they found the problem but had to drive the car "hard" in order to find the problem, what the heck, I didn't drive the car hard and the problem was there.

I have used Phil's Care Car for years. I trust him and he is priced right. We have taken all 3 cars to him for various issues - 281-354-8700. Located off of Loop 494 just north of Northpark Dr.

anyone with experience with service companies in kingwood? it's so hard to coordinate dropping a car off and picking it up between work and kids- sure would be nice to find an honest mechanic here in the bubble!

Valentine, Beckwith's will bring you home when you drop off your car and pick you up from home to pick up your car. I used to use a mechanic here in the bubble but was so unhappy with their so called 'service' that I would rather go outside of KW to use them. Hope this helps

I don't trust any place to work on my car. Do all the work myself and it saves tons of money. Try downloading the fsm or factory service manual for your vehicle. It explains in great detail step by step on how to do absolutely anything to your car.

We use Kingwood Goodyear on Stonehollow, used them for 25 years. They do great work have never had a problem with them.

Do not use Pep Boys!!! Recently went to both to try to use coupons, and they are horrible. First one on NP, charged us $45 for an oil change when we had a coupon for $19.99. We were ready to pay for extra oil but not an extra $25! Next, we decided to try the one on 1960 in Atascocita to use our coupons for a brake job. They said it needed rotors and it did NOT!!! Where are all the HONEST mechanics. I will never use either one of these again!
