Hi there - I know I don't post much on here, but I wanted to spread the word about a fundraiser that will be happening in Town Center for Kingwood's very own hero, Robert Yarbrough. I do not know Robert or his family personally, but his act of heroism has touched my heart very deeply & he and his family could use all of our prayers, support, and love. I am married to a Houston Fire fighter who works out of station 68, one of the stations that lost 2 of the 4, firefighters on 5-31-13. The loss of 4 firefighters at one time has hit our entire firefighting family very hard. There are still a handful of firefighters out there that sustained life changing injuries and are still being treated & rehabilitated. I do not know the extent of the injuries, but I do know they have kept these men from their jobs & their livelihood. I thought it was pretty awesome to have Robert as the Grand Marshall in the 4th of July and watched w/ tears in my eyes as he and his family passed by. If you cannot come to the fundraising event in August, but would like to help in some way, there is an email address at the bottom of the flyer that I am attaching. If anything please keep all of the Houston Fire Department and those who are still hurting from the tragic events on May 31st. Thank You all ! I would love to donate to such a wonderful fundraiser. We will be back from the Junior Olympics after the first part of Aug.. I will look and see when the deadline is. Thank you for sharing! My thoughts and prayers to the families. 

Just a FYI....they said they would like the donations ASAP so they can start putting things together was the answer I received from them tonight.
