And if so, what do you think about it??have you had any issues, do you enjoy using it??how often do you find yourself using it and how easy is it to clean?

If you own one and also have a juicer or had a juicer, can you tell me how you'd compare the two when it comes to "juicing"?

I love mine and use it everyday. Ive never had any issues (do you have any particular issues in mind that youre worried about?). I use it for smoothies, pre and post work out drinks, sorbets, soups, sauces, etc... If I want something extra smooth I will use it. To clean it I fill it halfway with hot water and a dash of dish soap, turn it on for a minute, rinse and voila.

I don't use it often for juicing because I hate filtering out the pulp (by using a strainer or nut juice bag). I end up losing some juice if I don't really squeeze the pulp by hand. Besides, unless youre doing a juice cleanse the pulp is good for you so I just make whole juices with pulp and all.

Yep, I have two juicers aside. This is the best for juicing because it doesn't remove the pulp but makes it fine so you can drink it.

Thanks so much for the input! I ordered one and am excited about getting it in. I bought a really nice juicer and I do love it but that's all it does?juice and then after purchasing this juicer saw the ads for the Vitamix and thought how nice it seems to be able to make so many different things with it?soups, ice cream, drinks, sauces, juice or smoothies?.just a wide array of awesome stuff and seems so easy. The clean up seemed easy too but I wanted the opinion of people that actually use one?.ads are sometimes deceiving and this thing is a bit pricy but if worth it?we're good with that.

We have a ninja. And its aweaome

I have a Ninja, too. I've seen the VitaMix at Costco but I love the Ninja so until it drops dead, I will keep it. I have had really good samples from the VitaMix though.

I saw the vitamix is 499.00 at Costco. That just seems like such a steep price to pay for a blender.

You can only judge it when you compare the blend difference between a vitamix and a normal blender. There's a reason all the commercial smoothie places and restaurants use this blender. Not to mention it has an amazing warranty. Bed Bath and Beyond has them for 499 and you can use a coupon.

I've had mine for 3 years and it blends just as well as the first day I bought it.

I have had one for 10 years, it is great. I didn't pay anything for it so it is that much better! It is a 'test' one and we are still testing I guess!

You can also buy refurbished ones with great warranties in their website.

This is not a blender in the normal sense of what a blender is. This is so much better.
