I plan on moving into the Oaks of Kingwood apartments, 2 bedroom 2 bath 916sq ft

How much are bills (the necessities) for you apartment renters? I am just trying to get an idea of what I will be paying a month so I can make a budget.

If you have any suggestions on who to use for electric, cable/internet and so on, all are appreciated.

You used to be able to call the utility companies and they could give you an idea. My kids have found that most apartment complexes require you to use a certain cable/internet. You can save on your electric bill by adjusting the heating and cooling when you aren't there. Apartments usually have bad window and insulation.

When I lived in a 1 bed room apt we paid a lot for the electricity. Almost as much as I pay for my house now. It was not insulted very well and the sun beat down on our apt most of the day. I would pay attention to details like that since it will most likely be the same not insulated very well.

Lower your water heater (not off - just lower) when hot water isn't needed. Do your showers and dishes at similar times.

Buy blackout curtains to cut down on window heating/cooling effects.

Check direction of windows of multiple units, if you have that option.
