Dog found morning of Oct 3 in Hunters Ridge. Female Black and white with no collar or tags. She seems friendly but skittish and scared.

Is the black and white dog a pit? This morning a black and white dog without a collar came up and sniffed my 2 year old at our front door. She/he just walked off after my husband walked out the door after us.
