My mother just paid a pretty penny to have the inside of her house painted and she used contractors named Gene and Joe. They in turn hired this person named Sammy and his crew of 4 painters. Beware these people do not care about your personal items. They left the house with dust on everything (I mean EVERYTHING) from sanding, paint on the ceiling fans, and a brand new ceiling fan had scratches on the blades. One of my aquariums was unplugged and my fish almost died but I caught it in time to get the filter running again. They ruined my mom's step ladder by getting paint ALL over it. They got paint on numerous personal items such as pants and jackets. They had bed frames leaning up against antique furniture.
Gene and Joe may contract out quality work for other jobs (I wouldn't know) but don't use them for painting. It's overpriced and the level of care and the quality of the work is not worth it in the least. 

Sorry this happened to you. Heard horrible stories about contractors doing these, which gives us a bad reputation. Some people do not respect other people's personal things and the things around when they work. For any future things you want done, call us. A&L Home Improvement, Lancelot Hunt.
