Can anyone give information/review of the Trailwood Village Apartments? I have heard both good and not so good.

Taken from "Trailwood Village Apts, resident reviews:"

Overall:Noise:Maintenance:Safety:Construction:Grounds:Office Staff:

First thing I have to say is STAY AWAY! The staff is completely lackadaisical unless they have an issue with you or your residence, then their attention borders on harassment. They completely ignore service requests until you threaten to call the health inspector to report the poor living conditions. Barring that, I know of an incident where the apartment staff told one tenant that the health inspector was visiting and that they may be evicted, so upon fully cleaning the apartment, the residents were still nervous, but the inspector never came. To me, that screams that the manager wanted an excuse to evict them. Also, there are issues with maintenance. There is only one competent maintenance guy on staff. The rest of them are idiots and just as likely to leave before fixing the problem. I have several service requests that I've put in that have been over six months to over a year and nothing has been done. The apartments are old to begin with, which I don't really mind, but when you would be better off making repairs on your own rather than calling on the FREE MAINTENANCE... well you get what you pay for. On the same note, the insulation is virtually nonexistent. In the summer with the ac at 60 you'll be lucky to feel a little cool in your apartment, and in the winter, if you don't set the thermostat at 80 your apartment will be the same temperature as it is outside. Half of the security lights are always out either because of broken fixtures or because of the neighborhood kids vandalizing them. The playground is old and in need of update. The laundry facilities are laughable. You're better off spending money at the laundromat down the road. Also, parking is crap. If it's after 9pm and you work late, you'll have to park on the street - which can be unsafe in some cases - especially on weekends when the younger people have parties and tell everyone to just park in the lot even though spaces are for residents. In total, this place is not worth the money you pay, so spend it somewhere else.

I have no personal experience with the property. This was on a realtors web page
