My college-age son Matthew is available for all levels of science and math tutoring high school through college. His Lone Star calculus 2 professor had him tutor the kids in his class. He can help with:

1. Test prep
2. Assignments
3. Homework
4. Projects.

He charges $20 an hour and can meet your child at either Atascocita or Kingwood Libraries.

Matthew's goal since middle school is to be a physicist. Since these lessons are helping him pay for college, I will be bumping this periodically.

My # is 713-410-6551
Matthew's #: 281-854-5740

Finals just around the corner!

esquala --- 9 years ago -

All the calls Matthew is getting shows that people are reading this and are in need of a competent tutor.

Among his current clients is a girl preparing for the SAT.

esquala --- 9 years ago -

Bumping for finals starting next week. Still time to get those grades up.

Laurabeth --- 9 years ago -

Esquala, will he tutor over the phone? My son is struggling a bit in Physics this year. We moved to Katy from Kingwood, but if he can help over the phone for a session periodically, that would be very helpful.

esquala --- 9 years ago -

Hi Laurabeth! I'm thinking they can do this over Skype, so that both can see what the other is doing on paper.

Matthew's working a double shift today and he doesn't answer his phone at work, so I'll see him later tonight and ask him.

Does your son have a final coming up? Matthew can help him review and clean up any "loose ends" of concepts he needs to understand better.

esquala --- 9 years ago -

Bumping - Calls for finals help are coming in.

justcat --- 9 years ago -

Very interested in his help. But DS schedule may be an issue???

New semester! Calls already coming in for kids who want to keep up with the pace to make sure they are understanding concepts, help with homework, and studying for upcoming tests.

esquala --- 9 years ago -

Matthew is just now getting a new client calling which reminds me to bump this.

Bumping for STAAR prep.

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 9 years ago -

I ought to hire him to teach me remedial math! LOL!

KingMichael --- 9 years ago -

May I remind some of you that tutors for subjects like Chemistry need to be from student tutors that have actual experience in a lab. many different subjects in chemistry must be taught to someone who has that lab time and understands the advanced concepts of why the reactions or different forces are happening which someone who just punches into a calculator will not understand.

esquala --- 9 years ago -

You are quite right King Michael - chemistry is a subject that Matthew tutors on the high school level only.

esquala --- 9 years ago -

Time to bump. Second round of STAAR tests coming up soon.

joni --- 9 years ago -

I will call your son tomorrow. Hopefully he has time to tutor my child who does not love physics. Thank you for the post. I have had so much trouble finding a tutor for physics. Joni
