Let Logic Prevail --- 60 days ago -

What did the Obama Administration and Congress do about these shootings?

Obama TRIED to do something but his hands were tied by Congress.

Prolix Raconteur --- 60 days ago -

Obama had a super majority in both the House and the Senate for 2 years (2008-2010) and could have easily passed gun reform legislation. They tiptoed around it as to not alienate supporters in red states. He purposely did nothing but talk in circles to ensure no democrat seats were lost.

witchywoman --- 59 days ago -

So it turns out that four not one but four armed deputies sat outside that school while those kids were getting brutally gunned down.

So much for good guys having guns to solve our country's ills.

Uh, they did try but the Republicans filibustered it. Do your research.

Those "good guys" are pure cowards looking for an easy paycheck. Don't insinuate that dirt bags such as them are anything like an American war veteran volunteering (no pay in most cases) to protect the schools.

The filibuster could've been stopped with the correct number of Dem votes. However, not enough Dems supported gun control legislation because they represent districts that aren't so far left leaning.

There?s no budget for it. Heck there?s barely a budget for actual teachers...

SoupIsGoodFood --- 58 days ago -

They're building $70 million dollar high school football stadiums.

I'm sure they can find some extra $$ somewhere.

jackass --- 58 days ago -

Nope, teachers aren?t even allowed to deduct the money they spend out of their own pockets for supplies for students anymore...no way they?ll get money for guns and armed guards. That would mean a lot of guns have to be purchased...

I mean who would push for that kind of wasteful spending?

What do you mean "anymore"?

smartypants --- 58 days ago -

It's interesting that no one is against armed guards at banks to protect money yet so many are against armed guards at schools to protect children!

jackass --- 58 days ago -

Like who?

What do you mean?

AwesomeTattooedDragon --- 58 days ago -

misunderstanding, I heard Kim and Kanye are splitting up! He thinks her babydaddy is OJ Simpson!! Better hurry and check it out!

DVaz --- 58 days ago -

Like who??

%90 of the Left.

jackass --- 58 days ago -

Totally wrong, they?re against arming teachers and guns that belong in the military. A lot of the ?right? agrees.

OrdinaryGuy --- 58 days ago -

Quite frankly the civilian version of the AR-15 would not be very good in the Army. The two versions are totally different. The use of the term "assault rifle" to describe the civilian version is totally wrong. It only looks like the military version but does not function the same way.
