So based on this response, you must disagree with the tactics being used at these town hall meetings by the constituents. They aren't willing to participate in a back and forth dialogue, they're interested in being angry. How can anyone expect to get any sort of answers in that manner? Actually, she was quite calm. I really don't know what video all of you are watching, because, while Barney might have found her sign offensive, I don't think she was screaming or "in his face" like all of you make her out to be. BARNEY is the one yelling and resorting to such classy words as "freakin'". Yeah, let's give that man a medal.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

So?!?! Because she thinks that Obama is like Hilter, she is against Barney Frank because he is a Jew?!?! NOT Perhaps not, but it does make her exceedingly stupid for saying that to him. It's also worth a mention that he's gay, another group persecuted by Hitler.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

ChunkyHeifer --- 1 years ago -

And, again, his job is to represent the views of the democratic party, the people who elected him into office. Chunky referring to his constituents as his "boss" isn't entirely accurate. The Democratic party did not elect Rep Frank, the voters within his district did, therefore they are his employer.

Ex-Lady In Blue --- 1 years ago -

You're going to compare a screaming mob holding hitler signs to a confrontation with an officer where he unloads his weapon on an unarmed person??? Seriously? How do these situations even compare? I guess I wouldn't expect anything less from you. You think homosexuals and Christians are comparable too. EVERY situation that is posted on KU regarding a police officer, you attack the officer and try to insinuate the officer should have kept their cool, while the suspect tried to run them down with the car and unloaded on the officer, and the officer should have know how to get out of the situation while not using any type of force at all. Oh, and I see you're still stuck on the comparison of homosexuals and Christians, because, typical of you, you can't pull your head out of your a$$ long enough to read what I write, but draw your own conclusions that you deem are ALWAYS right and the only "true way" that I could conceivably mean to say things.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

Perhaps not, but it does make her exceedingly stupid for saying that to him. It's also worth a mention that he's gay, another group persecuted by Hitler. So you get to ASSume that she is not Jewish and not gay and that she is prejudiced against these groups based on what?!?!? And you dare to talk about being racist?

*momof5* --- 1 years ago -

BARNEY is the one yelling and resorting to such classy words as "freakin'". Yeah, let's give that man a medal.  Again, why don't you watch the video YOU posted, and see the tone of this meeting...that might help your perspective a bit. When a jewish man is being badgered, and then a woman stands up depicting a picture of our President as Hitler and starts talking to a JEW and how he's supporting a NAZI POLICY, how do you think he SHOULD react to that? I would be offended and I'm not Jewish! She didn't ask a question in a manner that deserved a respectful response. "You reap what you sow" applies here very nicely.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

None, other than being demonized by the media and liberals in general. She didn't need to be demonized. I think telling a gay Jew he's defending a nazi healthcare plan while waving a sign with a depiction of our black president dressed as Hitler was enough to make most people think she's a blithering idiot. Maybe not on KU, though...which is pretty frightening.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

The Democratic party did not elect Rep Frank, the voters within his district did, therefore they are his employer. The democratic voters in his district voted him in.

PutOnYourBigGirlPanties --- 1 years ago -

therefore they are his employer. Then my original answer still stands....If my boss stood in my office, asked me questions but wouldn't let me answer, held up signs with that were meant to incite a reaction from me, and then repeatedly blamed me for not knowing the answers to the questions he wouldn't let me answer.....He'd be lucky if all I did was compare him to a dining room table.

double post

WTH are you talking about? The only police/suspect thread I have EVER commented on was the one in Kingwood at the apartment complex. The suspect was unarmed and the cop shot him 5-7 times. I've also said that the personality type attracted to law enforcement, isn't my cup of tea. So, I have NO idea what you're talking about in the above post. Maybe you need to pull YOUR head out of YOUR A$$ and quote me correctly.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

So you get to ASSume that she is not Jewish and not gay and that she is prejudiced against these groups based on what?!?!? And you dare to talk about being racist? Yes, I would assume a Jew would not go parading around with a sign depicting a black man as Hitler. I think anyone with even a few brain cells in their head could make an educated guess on this one. You aren't even making any sense at this point. Sorry, but the woman is an idiot.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

Yes, I would assume a Jew would not go parading around with a sign depicting a black man as Hitler. Why not? They probably have a second sense about politicians that lean in that direction! LOL You aren't even making any sense at this point. Sorry YOU don't get it!

*momof5* --- 1 years ago -

Yes, I would assume a Jew would not go parading around with a sign depicting a black man as Hitler. Why not? They probably have a second sense about politicians that lean in that direction! LOL how is that even funny to you? I guess you must giggle like a school girl every time you see anything regarding the holocaust! Is 'Schindler's List' amongst your favorite comedies?? WTF?!?!

sunshinegirl --- 1 years ago -

how is that even funny to you? Even having to explain it to her is funny to me. It seems it should be a given. You can retract your claws now! L O L !

ChunkyHeifer --- 1 years ago -

OH SNAP! --- 14 min ago - quote - flag comment The Democratic party did not elect Rep Frank, the voters within his district did, therefore they are his employer. The democratic voters in his district voted him in. Yes, the VOTERS, democrats, republicans and independents. You were scaring me there for a second Oh Snap, I was wondering if you were saying Party first, voters second. Wait, I think there is a video of a Representative from NY saying that very thing.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

how is that even funny to you? I guess you must giggle like a school girl every time you see anything regarding the holocaust! Is 'Schindler's List' amongst your favorite comedies?? WTF?!?! Wow that is rude! No, I don't laugh about that sort of thing, but I do think she could seriously get it if she wanted to! LOL

*momof5* --- 1 years ago -

No, I don't laugh about that sort of thing, But you think it's funny that a JEW would carry around a sign thinking this administration IS ANYTHING like Nazi Germany?? How insulting.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

Why not? They probably have a second sense about politicians that lean in that direction! LOL Wow.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

Yes, the VOTERS, democrats, republicans and independents. Right, but when you vote for a politician you are voting for him so he can represent your party in congress. That is why we have various different parties. He is doing his job. He is representing the views of the majority in his district.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

But you think it's funny that a JEW would carry around a sign thinking this administration IS ANYTHING like Nazi Germany?? No, AGAIN...I think it is funny that Oh Snap!, didn't snap! That was what the LOL was about. Is that clear enough?

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

I do think she could seriously get it if she wanted to! I "get" what you're saying. I just don't agree with you.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

Why not? They probably have a second sense about politicians that lean in that direction! LOL Wow. And now you doubt that Jews would recognize someone like that more readily?

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

And now you doubt that Jews would recognize someone like that more readily? Kind of like how all black people know how to dance, and all Asian people love to take pictures?

Agent of Change --- 1 years ago -

She didn't ask a question in a manner that deserved a respectful response. "You reap what you sow" applies here very nicely. Note that the audience was clearly behind Barney Frank, who doesn't suffer fools lightly, on this one.

PutOnYourBigGirlPanties --- 1 years ago -

all black people know how to dance I thought it was basketball....and they all know each other.

*momof5* --- 1 years ago -

Why not? They probably have a second sense about politicians that lean in that direction! LOL Wow. And now you doubt that Jews would recognize someone like that more readily?  Your hole has been dug, WHY are you continuing to dig it deeper??? You really think our country is like Nazi Germany and someone of Jewish heritage would actually have insight into that??? Again I ask, WTF? I don't know how ANYONE on this planet can compare healthcare reform to the f'ing genocide of MILLIONS! Especially someone that's been through it or has family that was! WTF is WRONG with you?

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

And now you doubt that Jews would recognize someone like that more readily? Kind of like how all black people know how to dance, and all Asian people are good at math and science? No, don't try to read more into it than is there or to put words in my mouth. I think once you have been exposed to a certain behavior in people you can more quickly recognize it in others.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

Yeah. I am absolutely stunned. That statement was wrong on so many levels that I really am at a loss of how to even begin to explain to someone...

PutOnYourBigGirlPanties --- 1 years ago -

I think once you have been exposed to a certain behavior in people you can more quickly recognize it in others. Sort of like how my dad and my brothers are totally racist...so I can spot it a mile away?

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

I think once you have been exposed to a certain behavior in people you can more quickly recognize it in others. So it's hereditary in Jews to know what a Nazi looks like? Is it in their DNA? Kind of like how animals can sense earthquakes before they happen? This is fascinating.

whatchamacallit --- 1 years ago -

Since you are back to the tag-team antics here, I am finished with this topic, for now.

OH SNAP! --- 1 years ago -

Since you are back to the tag-team antics here, I am finished with this topic, for now. Yeah. I would really suggest you stop.

PutOnYourBigGirlPanties --- 1 years ago -

Since you are back to the tag-team antics here Why is tag team? I'm just responding to what I see, it happens to agree with others. What's the difference between that and the times we see a million Ocrapa, Opisso, Obama sucks remarks?

PutOnYourBigGirlPanties --- 1 years ago -

I know it's hard to believe that more people aren't "with you" on this, and that there could be more than one person "against you", but the one thing I can say for all three of us....we can all very easily stand on our own, and have done so many times on here. I don't need either of them to agree with me, in order for me to say what I'm thinking. I'm sure they feel the same.

*momof5* --- 1 years ago -

Since you are back to the tag-team antics here, I am finished with this topic, for now.  lmao!!! how many times have I been alone in defending my point of view on here?? I don't "run away" because I feel outnumbered. Maybe you're leaving cause you know you're WRONG. Your statements toward Jews are sickening. Likening healthcare reform to Nazi Germany, is sickening. I don't need to "tag team" you, to tell you that. Your view on this is f'd up, bigtime.
