I firmly believe the tactics used by the democrats in trying to destroy Judge Kavanaugh will backfire on them. I bet he get confirmed. In fact, I'll bet he gets some democrats (those up for reelection in states Pres Trump won) to vote for him or they will lose their senate seats. Watch and see.

Not quite. The Republicans only held the House for 6 of those 8 years. The Dems had both houses and the White house for 2 years and all we got was the failed Obama Care and Cash for Clunkers.
