What law has been broken?

think we covered that above -

sdanielmcev --- 1 years ago -

Even without receiving it, the solicitation of the information is also a crime

No. By all the of Gods of the Galaxy this is ignorant. You base your opinion on a finance law. So your statement is a blatant lie.

Emperor of Kingwood --- 1 years ago -

think we covered that above -

I don't think so. What CFR has been violated?

Emperor of Kingwood --- 1 years ago -

the solicitation of the information is also a crime

It is not.

sdanielmcev --- 1 years ago -

What law has been broken?

No. I'll wait until you or anybody else cites a law. And, remember, campaign finance laws do not apply.

sdanielmcev --- 1 years ago -

Nixon probably thought breaking into the democratic headquarters to get dirt was just politics too...?

At the time, yes it was.

jackass --- 1 years ago -

Scrambling to find a way to support this BS...lol

Sad, actually...

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

11 CFR 110.20

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

"(b)Contributions and donations by foreign nationals in connection with elections. A foreign national shall not, directly or indirectly, make a contribution or a donation of money or other thing of value, or expressly or impliedly promise to make a contribution or a donation, in connection with any Federal, State, or local election."

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

(g)Solicitation, acceptance, or receipt of contributions and donations from foreign nationals. No person shall knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation prohibited by paragraphs (b) through (d) of this section.

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

Soliciting valuable information (a thing of value) from a foreign entity is illegal.

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

It is not.?

You're not credible. You also said the law doesn't say "thing of value". It does.

Karras --- 1 years ago -

LMFAO at liberals grasping at straws. As much as you want it to happen, Trump will never be impeached. He nor anyone in his family will be thrown in jail.

The only way Trump is leaving office is if the demoncrats can find a way to win an election. Thankfully the party is being run by ditzy Pelosi and Pocahontas so no need to worry about them winning anything anytime soon.

Oh, to make matters worse for the Demoncrats Trump will not renew DACA and voters rolls are now being cleansed of illegals and dead people. LMFAO at demoncrats never winning an election outside of California and Oregon.

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

You're right. They'll be in prison, not jail.

RiteWingKing --- 1 years ago -

Many Comrade Republicans here. It is just plain wrong and un-American. Top Ethics Federal Watchdog quit. Originally was an Ethics staffer under Bush. Obama promoted him.

Joe Blow --- 1 years ago -

Comrade Pubie Flat Earth Truthers have NO ETHICS. Dump's own political campaign wasn't even Made In America.

LMFAO

Emperor of Kingwood --- 1 years ago -

I'll wait until you or anybody else cites a law

Has anyone cited any CFR that's been broken?

RiteWingKing --- 1 years ago -

Emperor of Russia would be a more appropriate name. It is a matter of ethics which Comrade Trump has none. Be an American not a tribal pubie.

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

emp is showing ignorance at its finest. Look a few posts up

Emperor of Kingwood --- 1 years ago -

It is a matter of ethics which Comrade

Then you apply the same standard to all? Correct?

RiteWingKing --- 1 years ago -

Yes I know the DNC with the Ukraine. So when did this collusion meeting between Ukraine Government agent and Hillary Occur?

RiteWingKing --- 1 years ago -

"If nothing else, the Clinton machine understood the need for firewalls between negative-research efforts and the candidate," Morrissey writes.

The Trump team clearly did not understand that, and now it's coming back to bite them in a yuge way. But that doesn't change the fact that Hillary Clinton allies did the same thing the Democrats are now so outraged about.

RiteWingKing --- 1 years ago -

We need some more explicit laws passed. However the free press needs to be able to pursue these news stories. Not election Campaigns.

RiteWingKing --- 1 years ago -

On BBC tonight is a story on the Ukraine Russian conflict. Still going on. Why did the Trump campaign remove arming the Ukrainians against Russia from the GOP platform? The Republicans were all for that.

AMDG --- 1 years ago -

And once more we are back to "but Hillary".

AMDG --- 1 years ago -

11 CFR 110.20

This would have been a great place for emp to have said thanks, you are right fuzz.

Instead, nothing. And in 2 more pages will be back to "what law was broken" again.

I didn't address it because it leaves out the SCOTUS ruling on the definition of "thing of value" in the context of campaign finance.

So, back to the original question. Can anyone cite the CFR that was violated?

fuzz81 --- 1 years ago -

Can you cite a case where SCOTUS ruled on "thing of value" outside of National Labor Relations Act?

More specifically cite where SCOTUS has ruled on "thing of value" in election laws?

Really...where did you get your law degree?

Junior never solicited anything it was offered besides nothing was given in the meeting...

JustWatching --- 1 years ago -

Who cares what fuzzy thinks? He only says things to get people going. If you haven't noticed he is always on the losing side. He's on the losing side now, too.

Tryingto --- 1 years ago -

Says him...the email made it clear they had stuff and he was salivating.

Please prove that he is lying. Were you there at the meeting? They said they had something but they didn't and the meeting only lasted 20 minutes. It's people like you who spread innuendo and some times false information based on your opinion. If I remember my US law....every one in innocent until proven guilty. Please tell me when Junior was proven guilty in a court of law.

For a long time people thought Hitler was a winner. Bahhh

JustWatching --- 1 years ago -

For a long time people thought Hitler was a winner. Bahhh

Now you are comparing the Pres or his sons to Hitler. That's a terrible thing to say. You should erase that asap!

Tryingto --- 1 years ago -

For a long time people thought Hitler was a winner. Bahhh

Hitler was voted into Germany with majority support. Look for common points...he ran a nationalist campaign,ADOPTED MESSAGING BY GROUPS, OVERSTATED ENEMY TERROTORIES, villionized religious and ethic groups...undermined the belief in truth...through repetitive *AND UNFOUNDED) COMMENT.NOT MY OPINION

AMDG --- 1 years ago -

He's on the losing side now, too.

Didn't know we were on sides, and keeping score - here all along I thought we were all fellow Americans - just with different ideas.

so instead of posts like this - why don't you just post exactly what you think the law and court rulings say -

just state your complete position on this. in one pos, and we can look it up and agree or disagree.
