and FYI I did try rescue me.org - nope. i found one agency that was willing to help and was going to trap momma and take her and the kitties, but they still haven't come through.

Thanks for your help. Again, I haven't had cats so I'm at a loss with them. I haven't tried to touch them or anything they all appear healthy, no obvisous issues/problems.
