Hi everyone, my family and I just moved here from Michigan and my teens are bored and driving me crazy. Are there any clubs or something to keep the kids active? My daughter in particular, she's 15. Where do kids get together?

Hi Shani..Welcome.. What part of Mich? Dh is from the Greenville area...have family in Grand Rapids and Mason. No idea about teens...mines not quite that old..Does your Sub have a pool...?? They hang out around Town Center,but that may not be the best place to start..those are more like the teens that parents must not be at home.. I am sure its hard to move during the summer... Hopefully tomorrow when everyone gets back on,some with teens will have ideas..

Ann Arbor is a great city, we were about 10 mins from downtown, the kids loved it, lots to do. I'm glad I've been unpacking in the air conditioning away from the heat. 

My teen hangs out at Town Center and the skate park...I don't work...just make him come home for meals and drop off water and gatorade, unannounced. Keeps him on the straight and narrow...lol How old are yours?

Are you talking about Humble skate park. My oldest has a friend up from Michigan and they skated there tonight. 

no...kingwood has a small one...my son is real good with newbies...he remembers what it's like. What school will they attend? 

my 13 year old is a boy, well he'll be 13 in August

That's great, they would skate anywhere. I think my 16 y/o wants to go to Kingwood, 13 y/o Kingwood Middle, 5 y/o Shadow 

My son has a pack that goes to the Kingwood skate Park every day...very nice group...going into 8th grade at Riverwood...but know lots of kids from Creekwood

Pop is not pop down here. It's all called coke. lol And the lakes down here are Disgusting...yuck! Barbecue Rocks! And so do the People. But the humidity is a sauna...uhg! 

I heard all the schools here are awesome, so I'm not too anxious about that. Where is Kingwood skate park?

I was wondering about the lakes, not worth a trip? I just got used to calling pop, soda, Coke will do for me, it's my favorite. And when we grill anything I call it barbecue, I've gotten in trouble with that.
