Hispanics were only 11.2% (414,000) of the population. Compared to Whites, Hispanics are approximately 9.3 times more likely to find themselves on the LAPD Most Wanted List. Please note: This calculation is imperfect because it combines current (2007) Most Wanted information with 2000 Census Bureau information. However, the overall message remains clear.

Illegal aliens.......just committing the crimes....er, uh,.... doing the jobs that Americans won't!

amb07 --- 7 years ago -

However, the overall message remains clear. That it is only really one hispanic person with 192 different IDs from the flea market?????????

RRay --- 7 years ago -

I go to the Texas Dep of corrections frequently in my work.....your statistic is accurate here too...mostly damn mexkins in jail, gettin free meals for committin crimes... There out to be a law...... oh wait! there is... ;9(

mamajulie --- 7 years ago -

There is something that I just don't understand. When illegals are convicted of criminal activity, why don't we deport them? And not just to the border, but if Mexican, then way into Mexico, or directly to a Mexican jail. Seems to me that this is one of the things that needs to be negotiated with the Mexican Government. We catch them, prosecute them, and deport them to a Mexican jail. Let Mexico pay for housing them.

Many of these so-callesd "statistics" about illegals aren't verifiable according to Snopes: Snopes

ukchristine --- 7 years ago -

Leowife please explain. "O-So thats what we are doing today, being racialist" How can quoting FACTS from a reputable source (LAPD) be perceived as racist? Although I have to say I could not find the actual stats (74%) as quoted by hardshell in the original post (Please provide a link) I saw a large number of names that have the word Hispanic after them. So have to assume these stats could be true. IF the 74% is true (and I don’t have time to count) then how is that racist to state that? Leowife please do not stick you head in the sand and make such a label. How can you make informed opinions when you do that?
