I use Kingwood VAC Animal Hospital. Up front in Kingwood. I paid 10.00 to get my dog microchipped. And I don't think they are overly expensive for regular shots. 

SNAP is really inexpensive. When I get our rescue animals altered, microchipped, and vaccinated there its only like $125(depending on the weight). But you probably want to have a vet evaluate your new puppy for any health issues you may not be aware of. The SNAP Wellness Clinic is supposed to be fairly inexpensive as well.
