The dental colleges will work on ya cheap, but they are using you for their training. Kinda scary. LOL

There are dental discount plans. They are usually in a network format and give discounts on sevices thru participating dentists. You have to put a pen to it. The monthly fees are low compare to traditional insurance plans, which discount plans are not. But they offer discounts on services. There's one I know of but can't think of it..google 'dental discount plans', there are many now. 

The dental discount plan saved me at least 4 times the yearly cost. Insurance is expensive and usually only pays out $1,500 the first year.
