Can Neoprene be embroidered on? I am wanting to purchase a lunch tote for my Lil princess, but she wants it to have her name in zebra writing with orange embroidery around. Any recommendations would be helpful!! 

I know that it won't stay insulating if you embroider on it. It is possible to embroider it, although it's not the easiest thing in the world-you might want to see if she is willing to pick a non elaborate font.

Also, if her name is long, maybe go with initials?

If this is your worry, you could always make an applique patch and glue it onto the bag. Something like this...
