My uncle was having abdominal pain and double vision. A scan showed fluid and when checked, it showed cancerous cells. They have determined that he has a tumor on his adrenal gland and will have a kidney removed on Monday. Today, he is in ICU having fluid around his heart drained with a tumor, and they have found a tumor in his lung. They have not found the source. My heart hurts for him and his sisters (my mother).

Thank you. My aunt just messaged that the fluid around his heart is bloody, so most likely malignant. This is the third family member with serious cancer in the past two years :( All three are in Lake Charles and come to MD Anderson for treatment. It is crazy to me with scans and blood tests that we cannot do more preventative medicine to catch cancer before it becomes so invasive. The negative side of me just thinks Cancer is big business and that is why more isn't done :(

Thank you everyone. My mom said they removed a pitcher of fluid from his heart. He is in ICU. Right now they are telling us they have to find the source, and they are doing biopsies on Monday. He went in for a scan in July and the tumor on his adrenal developed since then. There was fluid in his abdomen that was cancerous. Getting tidbits from different family. Not looking good. My mom fell and broke her knee. If she is up to it tomorrow, we are going to go see him.

WIP. Thank you for prayer. He has had a really difficult life. He never married, no children, no education, no friends. He has always worked, fixing embroidery machines. He is the sweetest man you ever met, but definitely a man. I know it will be a miracle if he is alive in three months. I just hope whether he chooses to treat or not, that he is n

He hasn't amounted to much, but he never hurt anyone, or expected to be taken care of; he just rocked  along and existed without being a mooch. Why do such bad people have good health and happiness and others have to deal with this?

Thank you. My sis and I are on our way to Lake Charles to see him. He is having surgery again Monday. My cousin is in remission but her husband will have to be on chemo the rest of his life. He has a rare form of basal cell carcinoma that is in his body and on the surface. He has been in a clinical trial. Too much cancer :(

This is my cousin and her husband. I'm getting a full body check at end of Jan. Long time to get appt. 

Had a nice visit with my uncle and family. He is out of ICU and his heart is draining well. He is on the cardiac unit now. He went to seven doctors before they figured out it was cancer :( He has a tumor on his aorta and the adrenal gland on one kidney. They are going to do biopsies Monday. Thank you for your prayers.
