I have been racking my brain trying to think of a gift for a friend's 12 year old son. He's a weird kid, not into sports or anything outdoors. The only thing I'v e ever seen him do is sit in front of the computer but I don't think he's playing computer games. I don't have any kids so I have no clue. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

gift card. they love gift cards! i am sorry to say, i have 13 grand kiddos and they are all getting gift cards this year. they will love it but i feel like i am not being a good grandma by giving them that.

Maybe one of those big, elaborate Lego kits? Those are for older kids I think, at least my 15 year old has them on his list! Or maybe some new earbuds or headphones? Not sure of your budget here!

LOL!

I was going to say Legos too. I have a 12 year old and he still enjoys Legos. I just make sure to buy the kits marked for ages 12 and over. And GA is right, they LOVE gift cards of any kind! :)

Last year I gave my nephew (around the same age) a maze puzzle box that I put money in. He had to solve the puzzle to get the money. It was a big hit.

it was like this one

Fortunately (for his mom) he isn't interested in girls yet. LOL The more I think about it a gift card is probably the best idea. This is my last gift to buy and then I can proceed to the baking part of the holiday.

What boy could resist?

My son's not into sports or outdoor activities, and he's not weird. That aside, the gift card is the best bet at that age.
