I think HEB usually has them on the weekends.

Warren Peace --- 11 years ago -

HEB carries them and sells by the sack.

I've always preferred making the drive to Kemah/Seabrook where they have several different seafood markets lining both sides of 11th Avenue. You're not going to find more variety, fresher seafood, nor the lower prices that this area offers. You can often get a sack of jumbo select crawfish for the same price or less than the average/tiny ones sold at HEB.

Theirs a place on Atascocita road. Used to be snow cone stand. Big crowd Friday buying. It on right as you come past will Clayton toward Atascocita. All I know about it. Just saw

I like sacks.

If you like a good sack, I suspect you might enjoy the pleasures residing within the sack as well. If you haven't experienced it, hear me out...

When sucking heads and pinching tails, you can't just yank the meat for the pleasure being sought. That's sloppy. You have to have a good grip using two hands. Crank the head, work the vein, then take the meat into your mouth. Follow by putting most of the head in your mouth and squeeze it, sucking the head until you can swallow the juice. Then repeat. It usually requires about six eager participants and a lot of beer to fully drain a sack. Now THAT's a party.

Has anyone heard anything about Big O's on Northpark?

Rubicon --- 11 years ago -

There is a truck on 1960 between Old MacDonald's Farm and the driving range on the driving range side.

Gotcats --- 11 years ago -

Kroger @59/Northpark has them on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. On Saturday you can also get them cooked for $5.99lb

Its not a truck its more like a little shack. Its called crawfish connection they sell really good crawfish. They also sell live crawfish. Crawfish shack in crosby is to for like 3.25 a lb. I agree with kemah has best variety and freshest seafood for cheap.
