We use environmentally safe chemicals and no contamination occurs with simple power washing, however in situations where we are removing paint from water towers or industrial cleaning, proper catch basins are used and or vacuum systems. We appreciate your concern and are happy to answer your questions.

^^^^^ Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

If that's the case I can't control rude or unprofessional behavior, however I will not follow up with nothing but professional and kind words and wish the best for whoever these people are.

i noticed that, kmb and thought you to be extremely professional in your reply. as for souperman, i don't see what he writes because i block his stupid comments. he stalks me for kicks on a community message board. how sad his life must be.

I meant no rudeness at all. I was trying to help because they did not provide their phone number. I truly wish them good luck in their business.

It's all good.

KMB per City of Houston Ordinance it does not matter if you us environmentally friendly chemicals or none at all, if you pressure wash you MUST re-claim your water. PERIOD>

KMB PRESSURE WASHING --- 10 years ago -

Hi Davi, if spider webs, dirt dobber nests and build up of mildew using the cities source of water are pollutants, section 6 and the codes are very descriptive and educating yourself with each code and per section you will then see that in no way are we breaking and EPA codes, if you have any other concerns feel free to comment, again we are here to serve the community and in no way are we effecting any water ways with anything other than the city of Houston water, god bless and hope that this clears up your concern.

Power washing driveways and parking lots
The waste water from pressure washing of driveways and parking lots is allowed to flow into the storm sewer system as long as no cleaning chemicals are used and the areas being washed are not contaminated with any pollutants (such as but not limited to oils and grease).
Pressure washing is addressed in Chapter 47 of the City of Houston Code of Ordinances. 47-741 (a) states "a person commits an offense...by introducing into the MS4 (storm sewer) any discharge not composed entirely of storm water. A pressure washing operation generating contaminants to the storm would not be legal.
The person doing the washing would have to contain the wastes and transport these wastes to a disposal facility. This requires a special waste transporting permit through the HDHHS Bureau of Public Health Engineering.
However, 47-741 (b) (10) states it is an affirmative defense to any enforcement action if the discharge is composed entirely of one of the following...pavement wash waters provided cleaning chemicals are not used."
