Is there any locally owned CD/ record shops in Kingwood?

Why bring up such an old post?

countdown --- 6 years ago -

Pretty sure theres nothing around here. Only record stores worth anything are Vinal Edge, Heights Vinyl, and Cactus Music, none of which are nearby.

There's a guy who has a sale every month at his warehouse in Stafford. Huge selection, I usually come home with at least 10 albums

CD's... who buys those anymore?

countdown --- 6 years ago -

LOL!!! random-thought I guess I am one of the few left who still buys CD`s...

Thank you for the info.

I always go to Sound Exchange on richmond. I've occasionally thought about opening a small record shop around this side of town. It's more of a fantasy than anything.

Thank yall.

FamousMonster maybe one day you will be able to open a record shop. Vinyl seems to be making a comeback.

There's Music Town in Spring on Steubner Airline, just a few miles off 1960. It's a bit of a mess - looks like they ran out of space in the mid-90s and just started piling up boxes where there was space. But that can add to the fun of digging through stacks of CDs if you're up for it. They even still have some CDs in longboxes! (Anyone remember those?) The owner is very nice and laid back and will special order anything you want. They also sell vinyl, cassettes, posters. Lots of local music in stock as well.

I buy most of my CDs and records on ebay. Sometimes I find a few at the Kingwood library FOLK bookshop and the local thrift shops.

I have 100's of CD's, used to be an Ebay seller. If interested in something, let me know.
