Apparently the Rockets and Astros haven been "reassigned" to Root Sports. As some of you know we have not been able to watch Rockets or Astros games with Suddenlink :-(

I am thinking of switching to Direct TV. Do they carry the Rockets games? I am sick of the crap channels on Suddenlink and not being able to watch the home teams play.

We just switched to Directv from Suddenlink after being told for two years that they were working on a deal to get that channel! When I went in to cancel the agent told me that they're just told to say that so you won't cancel but no they wouldn't be getting that channel anytime soon! 

Yes Directv has Root Sports and you can watch the Rockets!! 

I did a request for ROOT -- dynamo games will be shown that way
So stupid -- they create more awareness and have a greater potential to build a stronger fan base if people could readily access the teams. Rant over 

Suddenlink will not add Root. I am switching to Directv !
