I had a rather strange phone call this morning. A customer saw a "sewage" truck hook up to a fire hydrant and dump "something" down the storm drains. Now - storm drains are NOT for sewer waste. This is highly illegal and dangerous. Now his house reeks of sewage smell. He is located in Trailwood Village. I have alerted Utility Maintenance about the incident. If anyone see this, get a name, license plate number, take pictures etc and call me 281-435-0178 (GAP Plumbing) - or call 311. I have not discounted that this is possible maintenance - that is why I reported it to them.

They are flushing the water lines in Trailwood. They aren't dumping toxins down the sewer, just water. Maybe all the excess water caused a bit of a "back wash" effect?

Ahh. Ok. Well, my entire problem with this is that sewer lines are not connected to storm drains (which is what I told him). Now you say they are flushing "water lines"? Is that possibly storm drains they are flushing, because that makes since.

Will be curious to the correct answer. I heard water lines were being flushed, we had brown water for awhile coming out of the tap and in the commode. Why the sewer smell, I don't know. It happened one day here also, but went away in a matter of an hour, just in one bathroom.
