There were two juvenile copperhead snakes that had gotten run over in front of my house tonight.

That means there's probably a lot more out right now.

Just be careful walking through grassy areas. 

Killed a coral snake last week -- Hunters Ridge. That's only the second coral snake I've seen here in over 20 years. Usually see copperheads. 

My son live out near Katy in an apartment complex. He opened his car door the other morning to go to work, and a rattlesnake was just inside the door. He thinks that it must have climbed up there to get away from the landscapers that were working. Stay safe everyone!

How did it get in? 

Good question. Not everybody likes his profession, so I worry that it had some help. He thinks it just managed to climb up and in, maybe through a vent or something...
