Hey there! A friend of mine's daughter is teaching violin this summer for only TWENTY dollars an hour. She is going to be a junior next year at Kingwood High and is super talented. She was placed first chair second violin in the top orchestra at KHS as just a sophomore this past year and has played with the Houston Youth Symphony for the past two years. She has taught violin lessons for the past two years as well and is open to teaching people of all ages and beginning-intermediate experience levels! Comment below for more info! 

Does she have a starter violin that the student could use? My son is renting one but he doesn't get it until school starts. 

No she does not but she could begin to teach him how to read music and the beginnings of learning violin! 

My wife is interested, she played as a child but it's been many years. She got a violin not too long ago but is looking for a starting point as it's been awhile.

I have a nephew that taught Sax lessons through high school. He ended up with a college scholarship and is now a music teacher in a middle school and working on his masters. So proud of that kid, I had to brag!
