Is anyone else experiencing an Internet outage with CenturyLink?

We lost our connection(s) yesterday afternoon and it's still down.

Apparently it's a nationwide outage and I was told by CenturyLink that it may be another three days before it's fixed.

In the meantime we are burning up our data allowance through Verizon.

Yeah same here...went down around 3pm yesterday, internet and phone..they said its was supposed to be up at midnight last night..still nothing..wtf

Mine is working fine.

Max, centuryLink told me it's affected 125 customers in Kingwood.

You're the lucky one and me and Chris are in the 125 number of those in Kingwood who are SOL.

Three days? That's brutal. I can't believe it will take them that long.

Mine was down yesterday and part of this morning. It is back up now. The last week or so it had been excruciatingly slow...half a MB/sec. It should be no less then 8MB. Is there anyone other then Centurylink and Suddenlink for internet? I can't stand either.

Mine finally came back up this afternoon, however; whatever CenturyLink did, messed up the wireless connections to our iPads, iPhones and laptops on my NetGear Router/Modem and told me I had to call NetGear Customer Support to straighten it out.

Of course, CenturyLink said the wireless problem with the NetGear modem/router wasn't their problem and claimed no responsibility.

Imagine that ...

Jerks, it cost me $80 for NetGear to fix it because NetGear said my router/modem was beyond the 6 months warranty window, even though I bought it in November of last year (2014).

SuddenLink may get a phone call next week ...

You're in luck. All new Suddenlink customers receive a free shirt...

I called centurylink today to sign up for service and dump my current provider for raising rates.

They said they were filled to capacity on my street or something, and couldnt take anymore customers.
