Holiday Kennels in Porter is very good.
There are several petsitters who post here and on KDC every now and then. Have you done a search on this (and the other) forum for pet sitters? 

My son, a college student at UH studying Biology has pet sitted/ house sitter for several families. He enjoys it and does a good job and has references. You are getting your house watched and your pet gets to stay at home. Feel free to message me if your interested. If you are uncomfortable with him keeping him at your house he could keep him here at our house, we live in Forest Cove and have a fenced yard and love dogs. Hope you find someone.
