Fireworks ate illegal in Kingwood/City Of Houston. You risk fines if you are caught buying outside the city limits then bringing them in i.e. Fireworks Warehouse/ booths on Northpark. However you can purchase fireworks there and sit them off in the field adjacent to the store. The citizens put on a good show! 

I never thought that was really enforced until I sat beside a guy from Kingwood in downtown Houston courts...he had been slapped with a hefty fine. Apparently the fireworks stands were being watched and buyers "stalked."

Good! It's been dry enough to start a fire from the fireworks and I don't want my house going up in flames from them.
