Is there still a fabric store at 1960 & W. Lake Houston? I don't sew but have a vague memory of one by Best Buy. Trying to find a piece of fabric to cover the end of my old antique ironing board.

I think they went out of business. They weren't open long ... I guess they didn't have enough business. Try Humble stores.

No. Went there last week. All Hancock stores in Houston are closed. They went bankrupt.

Thanks anyway. May have to order something online. Only need about a half yard or so but I want it to be scorch proof like a regular ironing board cover.

There's a JoAnn's Fabric on 1960 across from the Deerbrook Mall.
