Tony Many Remodeling has been booked and very busy. But he does have a tile guy, Keith that he may not be using? 281-706-9173. What helps is to do your own demo work. Pulling up carpet is work but saves $$ for those who charge by the hour. Have a sharp knife handy and cut the pieces to a manageable size, then roll the carpet into rolls. Have big bags ready for the padding.

Then depending on your subfloor, you'll have to pull up the carpet tack strips. Be careful, they are sharp! I hammered a crowbar under each nail and tapped the strip up on wood subfloor. [i]Most[/] strips came up in one piece. I am not sure how they would come up off concrete floor?
