Having a fence repaired and am left with the broken posts stuck in concrete. I have several right now but will have more. It's just my son and his friends that are doing it. I don't know what to do with these chunks of concrete besides taking them to the local dump, which might cost a lot.

My neighbor just replaced his fence and he, too, had a bunch of concrete to dispose of and he took it to one of the CoH Solid Waste Management Department locations. I believe the one he used was near downtown.

They accept it at "no charge" to residents and will use the concrete for filler.

Here's the link to their website;

Thanks!!!! I didn't know there was someplace you can drop it off for free!

When DH replaced a small section of sidewalk we were left with chunks of concrete. He put an ad on KYS and listed it for free. To my surprise, two ladies came and hauled it away. They wanted it for filler.

my old eyes saw "...large chunks of chocolate..." at first glance. Were that the case, you could have dropped those chunks off at my house.
