We've been told for years that Suddenlink has been working on a conract with Root Sports so we could watch our Rockets and Astros in Kingwood.

I got an email from Suddenlink today confirming that they have NO PLANS to add Root Sports to their lineup.

I guess it's time to switch to DirectTV until we can get Xfinity in our area.

I'm glad Suddenlink isn't bending to Root sports for the package. It's too bad the sports teams are so greedy they decided to start their own business of selling their broadcast. 

Root Sports is owned by AT&T.
