Since I read the posting...about the dental scam...see today's posting...

I need to find a DENTAL OFFICE with
a Hygienist that will

"DO A NORMAL TEETH CLEANING..all 28 teeth"

and not hold patients hostage for the
more expensive "DEEP CLEANING"
some people's pockets are
not "deep" enough... to pay the much
higher price.

I know five older (seniors +50)
that just want a regular teeth
cleaning, and pay the $70 to $120
for the 30 minute service..

No Exam, No X-rays...just the cleaning!

Please PM me if you have a suggestion...
need to make some September appointments.

( I just spoke to a friend, and the
Hygienist wanted to charge over
$256 for a deep cleaning....and
REFUSED to perform the normal
cleaning...so she left the Deerbook
Mall Area office, without ANY
services...kinda sad..b/c I heard
two similar stories about dental
offices this year) 

Any competent, professional dentist will examine your teeth to find potential problem areas. That includes x-rays and a thorough exam. IMO, that's his/her professional function.

A "deep" cleaning is done by a periodontist, I believe.

I'm an old person. My teeth are too valuable to me to not visit a dentist routinely. 

The college of dentistry at U of H is always looking for patients.
