We've been fostering a mutt that we rescued last year. The dog is a true Heinz 57. She's sweet and full of lots of energy. She needs a family to love her that has time to give her the attention she deserves. Appears to be very loyal, we just can't keep her. Her name is Assana as that is a Gaelic word meaning waterfall (because her owner discarded her as one of a litter of 5 puppies on the side of a road by a waterfall) She has all shots up to date and she needs a GOOD home. Of course we are... but 2 dogs in the house is too much and we want her to have a little more of a place to run and play. My kids are very busy, I'm running a small business and my wife is working also. It was a great thing to save the dog's life, but we just can't keep her. I see. Sounds as if you have your hands full. :) You probably came to the right place. There are a lot of animal advocates on here. Hopefully they can offer some assistance.

Brian, there is a pet underground website that caters specifically to animal related posts. It has come and gone a few times, but is back up. I can't find it right now but hopefully one of their regulars will see this and provide the link so you can connect with them..
