Northbound WLH between after Sandy Forks but before Northpark about 30 min ago, I passed emergency personnel and saw a bicycle under the front of an SUV. I do not know any details. I was on the opposite side of WLH but I could see traffic backing up and the bike under the front of the SUV.

Saying prayers for all those involved. If you travel this way you might want to take a different route. I am not sure how long they will be on the scene.

Oh, yikes. I hope they are ok.

It's rough to compete with cars when you're on a bike...and for the most part, cars don't even see you..

I hope it was not a CMS student. When I left to take ds to school there were a couple of police cars and an ambulance at the entrance to Greentree at Brook Shadow. On my way back home I saw Mr. Winicki walking back to Creekwood from the area. :(

Ugh, I hope not but considering the time and location, it's a possibility. UGH.

It was while the school zone lights were on for CMS. I also saw other kids on their bikes heading to CMS at the time. It is very possible, although I do not know for certain.

This was the accident I was talking about. I was taking my kids to their school (Greentree) and I seen a child (could not make out age) and a woman hovering over them...hugging and rocking. There was a bike almost under the truck. This was before the firetruck arrived. I am not sure what happened...but I think it was a Greentree student.

Any information yet? Hope the child was ok!

According to my son it was a 6th grader from CMS. She is reported to be okay, but they want to run more test and observe her to make sure they aren't missing anything. Seems to have bruising only and no broken bones upon initial exam. Pls note my son is in 6th so this may not be the most accurate info, but he said she was okay best he knows.

i hope this is true and if so, thank Heaven's for all involved, especially the driver and the child.

His teacher announced it to the class so I think it is fairly accurate information.... Just maybe not relayed 100% to me.

That's good news! Thanks
